The Sweetest Things

So I just came across the most fun thing to do. I was bouncing around YouTube,  as one often does, browsing the catacombs of the internet for further knowledge watching videos of Babies Laughing and a Turtle humping a shoe. And I come across the title, "Draw A Dinosaur"
........
Okay YouTube.
You have my attention.

It turns out there is a whole channel of fun things to draw. Aptly Titled, Fun2draw.

This was the most fun thing I've done in a long time. I'm not someone who considers themselves an "artist". Which is a little sad, because I paid so much for a theatre education to teach me that. Or maybe it was just a hard lesson to learn because it's a really really valuable one. and more people should learn it, especially some of the people who have that kind of money to throw away because they get paid to act, for some reason unbeknownst to the rest of us.

Sorry that was a bit of a rant. I saw two movies today. One had Kirsten Dunst (I don't give a rat's ass* if that is not spelled correctly.) and one had Megan Fox and I'm still not over it.

*Or if you send me Formspring messages correcting my spelling. It's the internet. It is not a job application. Don't take yourself or anything else so seriously. You will have a miserable, frigid life. But I digress!

Following along to these videos made me happy. Drawing along and seeing that my drawing was coming out "totally cute" just like the video made me feel really good about myself somehow. Like a kind of Creative Validation. I think having a hobby that you're really good at is important. It's important for everyone to feel confidence and pride about at least one aspect of their lives. If you wish you could draw, or think you lack any artistic ability, Check out this channel. It certainly lifted my spirits :)

Wow this post really got away from me for a bit there. Hah! silly.

Also, wasn't the turtle humping a shoe hilarious?! You guys thought I was a perv, so you clicked on it. hahahaha. your bad people too :)

Peace Out
a.p.
